CCR Advanced Nitrox Diver
CCR Advanced Nitrox Mexico Duration: 5 Days
The CCR Advanced Nitrox Diver course with the Triton front-mounted rebreather is a crucial step for divers eager to further explore the limits of underwater diving using this cutting-edge technology. It is designed for divers looking to dive to a depth of 40 meters with a rebreather and perform up to 30 minutes of decompression.
This advanced course is open to CCR Level 2 divers or open circuit divers with a minimum certification to dive to 40 meters and a Nitrox certification.
The first day of the course is devoted to theory. Divers gain an in-depth understanding of the Triton front-mounted rebreather’s operation, its air recycling mechanism, and master safety procedures specific to this technology. Qualified instructors guide students through every aspect of the equipment, appropriate gas mixtures, and Triton maintenance. Safety is at the forefront of learning, with a special focus on managing emergency situations, although the Triton is renowned for its reliability.
In the following days, we move to the sea or cenote where you’ll learn to master your rebreather through a series of practical exercises. Gradually, dives become deeper and longer, and an understanding of decompression management is crucial to ensure a safe and successful dive.
You will also have the opportunity to further your learning by diving in more demanding environments, such as deeper wrecks, cenotes, and coral reefs at varying depths. Mastering the machine and constant monitoring of the PPO2 (partial pressure of oxygen) are vital in these situations.
At the end of the CCR Advanced Nitrox course with the Triton front-mounted rebreather, divers are well-prepared to take on even more advanced challenges. They have gained expertise in using their machine, planning and managing decompression, and optimizing their Triton for safe diving. This course paves the way for future underwater adventures, allowing divers to push their limits further while exploring the depths responsibly and captivatively.
