Prerequisites: Before enrolling in the “Wreck Diver” course, you must be certified as an “Advanced Open Water Diver” or possess an equivalent certification and have a minimum diving experience. Also a good control of your buoyancy and streamlined equipment is required.

Theory and Knowledge: The “Wreck Diver” course includes comprehensive theoretical training on specific aspects of wreck diving. You will study safety considerations, wreck diving techniques, dive planning on wreck sites, and protocols to respect the integrity and preservation of the wrecks.

Wreck Diving Techniques: You will learn specific techniques for safely diving on wrecks, including navigating inside the wrecks, placing a guide line, managing buoyancy to avoid stirring up sediment, damaging wrecks, or injuring yourself, and how to react to emergency situations at a wreck site.

Historical Knowledge: An essential part of the “Wreck Diver” course is learning about the history of the wrecks you will explore. You will study the ship’s history, the circumstances of its sinking, and understand the importance of preserving these historic sites.

Diving on Wrecks: The course will include several dives on real wreck sites in open water or confined waters to put your wreck diving skills into practice.

 After successfully completing the “Wreck Diver” course, you will receive a certification that allows you to dive on wrecks within the limits of your certification. With this course you will be able to enter wrecks respecting safety and preservation protocols.
