Cenote Taak Be Lum

Diving in the Taak Be Lum cenote offers a unique experience at the heart of stalactite and stalagmite formations with a very uncommon shape, resembling bubbles frozen in time. This distinctive feature creates a magical atmosphere, transforming the dive into an extraordinary adventure.

The typical duration of a dive in the Taak Be Lum cenote is approximately 50 minutes, with an average depth of around 7 meters. Although the depth is not considerable, and diving in Taak Be Lum can be done by novice divers, the interior of the cenote evokes the mysterious atmosphere of a true cave. At times, the prevailing darkness makes the exploration particularly intriguing and captivating, much like a night dive. That said, the unique underwater geological formations add a special touch to this enchanting atmosphere that is quite different from a traditional night dive.

Finally, near the exit of the cenote, there is a dome where it’s possible to observe dozens of bats, adding an even more fascinating dimension to this diving experience.
