Divemaster Course – Duration: Minimum 9 days

Diving Leader: The Divemaster course is the first professional level that will teach you how to become a diving leader. You will acquire skills in group management, communication, navigation, and dive planning. You will be trained to guide divers and take on leadership responsibilities during diving expeditions.

First Aid Skills: You will receive comprehensive training in first aid and dive-specific care. You will learn to recognize and manage medical emergencies that can occur during diving and be prepared to intervene if necessary.

Underwater Environment Knowledge: You will develop a deep understanding of the marine ecosystem and various marine species. You will also learn to identify environmental factors that can affect dives and how to preserve the underwater environment.

Instructor Assistance: As a Divemaster, you will assist instructors in diving courses and training. You may be involved in organizing courses, supervising students, assisting in pool or open water training, and more.

Practical Experience: The Divemaster course typically includes a practical internship period during which you will work alongside an instructor to gain hands-on experience in dive supervision and management.

Certification: After successfully completing the Divemaster course, you will receive the IANTD Divemaster certification. IANTD is a globally recognized agency, particularly well-known for technical diving. Once you become a Divemaster, you can work as a diving professional worldwide and continue to progress towards higher levels if that is your goal. To become an IANTD Divemaster, you must be previously certified as a Rescue Diver, have completed a minimum of 60 dives, and be certified in Nitrox and Deep Diving.
